Why buy a whole hinge if you only need half to replace a broken one?

This is an original vintage steeple hinge, it is not a reproductions. I have cleaned the old paint off, buffed and applied a spray lacquer to prevent it from rusting. There are no cracks and this is only half a hinge set, there is no pin with this half hinge. Please see pictures for condition.
